Post FA Frenzy 3 Round NFL Mock Draft

Wow… It has been a crazy few weeks since my last mock. This off-season has already been filled with so many twists and turns, it may just be the craziest ever or at least in my lifetime. Most teams now have a completely different set of need than they did at the start of March let alone at the end of the 2021 season. Now, I’m sure my disclaimer on what the last mock was meant to do and why there were no trades makes a lot more sense. The draft is now roughly a month away (depending on when this is finished), and we have a MUCH more clear picture of what’s going down on April 28th.  This will be the second of a 4 part series of mocks I’ll be doing on this page, followed by: a full 7 rounder that will release around one week before the draft, and a final 1 round mock the night before the draft. This mock draft WILL have trades as we can see a much better landscape for what’s to come and who needs to/can move to get what they need. This mock is my first real stab at what will actually...

My All-HOF Snub Team

I’m back again with some more HOF content for you, are you getting a sense for my favorite topic yet? This is my All-Time team made up of players who’ve been snubbed for the Hall. The list of course won’t include any Hall of Famers, current players, recent retirees who aren’t up yet, or players who are up but will definitely be in eventually (Ex: DeMarcus Ware or Torry Holt). It will however, include players who are still on the main ballot but clearly being looked over and I expect to hit the senior ballot (Ex: Shaun Alexander, We’ll get to him). There’s so many players to go through with this list but I’ll be narrowing it to 13 starters on offense and defense, and of course K, P, ST, Returner. Let’s get rippin’: Offense QB Randall Cunningham Eagles: We’re starting out controversial here but stick with me, Cunningham is only the father of all running QBs! He’s the trailblazer that enabled Vick and Lamar to do what they do/did. Sure, QBs have been able to run since the league’s incepti...

Post-Combine 2 Round NFL Mock Draft

It’s officially one of the most interesting times of year, that month of speculation between the combine and draft. As we await the 2022 season rosters will begin to take shape with resignings, FA deals, and trades. That being said, the upcoming draft looms as the key to the future of every NFL team. This will be the first of a 4 part series of mocks I’ll be doing on this page, followed by: a post free agency 3 rounder, a full 7 rounder that will release one week before the draft, and a final 1 round mock the night before the draft. This mock draft will have NO trades as it’s pointless to speculate on that until we see how free agency changes the drafts landscape, all following mocks will have them. This mock is mostly analyze  who to expect in the early rounds and where they make sense IF the draft happened today. Let’s get rippin’: Round 1: 1. Jacksonville Jaguars - OT Evan Neal Alabama:  Jacksonville knows they have to add some building blocks on offense for TLaw or t...

Who’s next? My predictions for the next 5 Pro Football Hall of Fame Classes.

Finally, the last few years the Hall of Fame has been starting to get it right. They’ve put in a slew of players who have done too much to wait as long as they had. It seems as though the Centennial Class was the turning point on many issues HOF voters had struggled with: Players who didn’t win but had the stats and accolades, Players with shortened careers, and the never ending Special Teamer debate. Recently, the voters have gotten it right and the current HOF voting platform of 1 contributor, 1 coach, 1 senior nominee and 5 modern era nominees seems to be the a good mixture to breakdown the ridiculous waiting list for the greatest fraternity in sports. Albeit, I’d prefer 1 coach/contributor and 2 senior nominees. That being said, let’s dive into what I expect to happen in the next 5 years based on the new precedent the hall has now set: The Class of 2023: Senior (1): -Kenny Anderson Quarterback Cinncinati Bengals (1971-1986) 4 Pro Bowls, 1 All-Pro, 1981 MVP, 1981 OPOY, 1981 CPOY, an...
