2026 Post-Free Agency Frenzy 3 Round Mock Draft

Free Agency was a blast this year. We had record-setting deals, familiar pairings reuniting in new cities, big-name veteran trades, and one could-have-been trade that shocked the world and threw mock-drafters for a loop. Although a lot can still change over the next month, the draft landscape is now much clearer than it was just a few weeks back. However, we now know the majority of the faces that will be on each roster by the time round 1 kicks off, which means we can make some much more reasonable predictions than we have before. This is the third in a series of mock drafts that I’ll be doing on this page, followed by a full 7-round mock that will be released around one week before the draft. I like to ramp up with each new mock, and therefore, I'll be doing all of Day 1 and all of Day 2 in this one, with round 1 trades included. 2026 Post-Combine 2 Round NFL Mock Draft

We had an absolute treat with this year's combine, plenty of records and performances that we'll be talking about for years to come. The talent at some non-premier positions this year should add some parity to a draft that's a bit light on top positions like QB and DL. To top it off, we've already had quite a few pre-free-agency moves that have begun to reshape team needs and draft boards. A lot has changed in the week and a half since my last mock, and a lot more will. That said, this is where the fun really starts, and we can draw some good connections. This will be the first of a 3-part series of mocks I’ll be doing for this page, followed by: a post-free-agency 3-rounder, and a full 7-rounder that will release around a week before the draft. 2026 Pre-Combine 1 Round NFL Mock Draft

Every year I fight hard to wait for my first mock of the season until after the combine. Mocks like these always felt like nonsense to me because there’s really no way to predict anything with so many variables left to play out (The combine, final coaching hires, free agency, etc.). However, I always make mocks like this for myself so that I can track how players are trending throughout the process, and funny enough, my pre-combine has been one of my most accurate 1st Round mocks the past few years.  I’ve come to realize that there’s a lot of fluff and misdirection that comes up between now and the draft, which makes the mocks before my final a little more unpredictable. As of now, I’ve already watched plenty of tape and done my initial analysis on anyone with a chance to sniff Round 1 this April. So why not get a mock out before the combine?
